Peter Leon is a Bronx-born artist currently living in Seoul. His work most often features depictions of faces experiencing varying levels of discomfort and anxiety. As part of his visual language, Peter often includes words and phrases that mix humor and reflections on himself and society at large. He considers the words on the canvas to be the portrait's voice. And as such, the words serve an an introduction to the face's hopes, dreams, fears, and aspirations.
